摘要: 企业如何应对并超越跨国公司的挑战、如何确立前瞻性企业战略与适应市场的成功决策、如何训练高层管理者快速有效地制定企业发展战略，使企业在混沌未明的国际商战中成功出牌，是摆在企业面前的亟待解决的重大问题。近年来现代管理科学大量运用计算机仿真技术，将企业管理方面复杂多变的环境和问题尽可能量化后，再建立起这些变量之间的因果关系，希望能通过这些变化来仿真经营环境及竞争对手的反应，用以预测未来可能发生的结果并通过团队合作来找出企业应对之道。这样的系统被称为企业经营模拟系统。 企业经营模拟实验教学主要借助于计算机仿真软件来模拟完成虚拟企业的真实运营与管理过程。在企业经营模拟教学平台中，学生可以扮演虚拟企业的总经理、企划、生产、采购、市场以及财务等部门的高级管理人员，运用所学的现代企业管理专业知识，与其他参加者经营的虚拟公司展开激烈竞争，对所经营的虚拟公司的每个季度经营做出一系列决策。决策涉及企业经营的各个方面，同时还穿插着战略管理、财务管理、市场营销、采购管理等众多学科的知识点，最大限度地模拟一个公司在市场竞争环境下的真实运作状况。
